Almost one month ago I started to my first #bikepacking adventure. It ended two days to early and not so lucky in a hospital. ⠀

This morning I woke up and felt able to writ a new blogpost ❗️link in bio - text in german ❗️about the accident and my feelings. ⠀

Yesterday it was to wash my bike. Today I walked down three floors to the laundry room and tomorrow I plan a walk with #hubby. ⠀

![I sometimes wonder if captions are read or if it is completely meaningless to write so much here? No matter - some of you asked me to tell why I fell in love with cycling. ⠀
⠀
Well I like the lightness of the sport. Riding bines no matter which one let me be free. I am immediately one with myself and I enjoy my free time and the freedom to ride. I am a speed junkie. Fast is good - faster is better. ⠀
⠀
I like the feeling of tired legs after a long ride or the satisfaction when I have reached a set goal. I don't care about the weather, as long as I can ride. Of course I'd rather drive outside than inside. ⠀
⠀
But what I particularly like about cycling is the scene. I meet so many great and inspiring people and share with some of them wonderful cycling stories which hopefully can be developed further. ⠀
⠀
I hope that many women dare to cycle, wish that our #TacTacWomensRide community continue to grow, dream of disappear the sexist image of women in sport and I would like to have real cycling legs next summer. A little superficiality is allowed ... ⠀

![We all have to rest sometimes. If we don't listen to our body, it just take the break itself. Whether we like it or not. I didn't want to listen - of course not. Today, 4 days after the operation, I felt fit. I thought anyway. So I decided to take a little walk. I had to buy tea and adhesive tape. The way to the store is not really that far. Halfway I noticed how hard walking was for me. I had to admit to myself that I had once again listened too little to my body and wanted too much too quickly.

It is phenomenal how our body knows what is best for us. I am really finished today. What full anesthesia and three fresh seams can do with one - unbelievable. ⠀
⠀
I take the time now and accept that I am sick and have to rest. Maybe I can go for a walk at the weekend. Until then I dream of all the roads I want to ride next summer. And, I watch masses of series ... Does anyone have Netflix tips? ⠀
